This web site (the "Site") is operated by HomeTelos, LP. ("HomeTelos," "We," or "Us"). When visiting the Site, We may ask you to provide information that personally identifies you and/or the employer you work for (collectively, you and your employer are hereinafter referred to as "You" or "Your"), for purposes of interacting with the Site; You may also provide confidential information regarding your business or the business of Your employer (collectively, your personal information and confidential business information will be referred to as the "Private Information").

Although HomeTelos is not a "financial institution" that is governed by the Privacy of Consumer Financial Information Rule of the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act, HomeTelos is committed to respecting the privacy rights of guests and users of the Site. HomeTelos has, therefore, developed this Privacy Policy to protect Your Private Information.

Use of Private Information

When You visit the Site, we may ask You to register and/or provide information that personally identifies You, for example, your name, address, email address, phone number, or other identifying information (such as, mother's maiden name, city of birth, pet name, etc.). We may also request personal information when You ask for information, subscribe to a HomeTelos service or publication, or download material. We may also collect information related to Your contact with our customer support team.

In addition, when You visit the Site, You may provide confidential information regarding real estate, real estate transactions, real estate appraisals and valuations, real estate repairs and contracts therefor, and real estate sales and marketing. For example, You may be asked to enter information regarding location, condition, appraisal values, sales prices, bids, work required, contractors, status, and the like. This confidential information may also be used in HomeTelos's comprehensive reporting facilities.

HomeTelos uses Your Private Information to help identify You in the event You lose Your password, to process Your transactions and payments and send You notices about your transactions, to resolve disputes, collect fees, and troubleshoot problems; to prevent potentially prohibited or illegal activities and enforce our Terms of Use, to customize, measure and improve our services and the content and layout of our Site, to compare information for accuracy and verify it with third parties, and to help You quickly find information on the Site. HomeTelos also uses Your Private Information to inform You of the status of your assets and transactions and to help You track Your assets and transactions. HomeTelos may also collect information about Your computer or other access device for fraud prevention purposes. HomeTelos does not sell or rent Your Private Information to third parties.

If You prefer not to have Your Private Information used as a basis for further contact with You by HomeTelos or to inform You of the status of your assets and transactions, You may "opt out" by simply clicking on the box stating "I Do Not Agree" provided below the Terms of Use agreement upon the first time you use your Login and Password to access the area of the Site that requires registration. If You choose not to give us Your Private Information, You can still access the Site, however, You will not be able to access areas that require registration.

Sharing of Your Personal Information

HT may share your Personal Information to service providers under contract who assist us with our business operations (fraud prevention, bill collection, technology services). Our contracts dictate that these service providers only use Your Personal Information in connection with the services they perform for us and not for their own benefit. We may also share your Personal Information with financial institutions to process Your payments to Us, to credit bureaus to report outstanding negative balance accounts, as allowed by law, to law enforcement, government officials, or other third parties when compelled to do so by subpoena, court order, or legal procedure or to comply with the law, or when we have a good faith belief that such disclosure is necessary to prevent physical harm or financial loss, to report suspected illegal activity, or to investigate violations of our User Agreement.

You may access Your Personal Information at any time by logging into Your account and clicking on the Profile tab.

Third-Party Hosting

HomeTelos contracts with a third party to maintain and host the Site. Therefore, any information You submit, including Private Information, shall be placed and stored on a computer server maintained by this third-party host. The third party has implemented technology and security features and strict policy guidelines to safeguard the privacy of your Private Information from unauthorized access or improper use.

Site Technologies

HomeTelos does not provide the technologies used to build its site, and therefore neither recommends nor endorses the same. Any information regarding identified technologies, their capabilities, limitations, applications, etc., should be sought directly from their manufacturers. HomeTelos hereby disclaims any rights to trademarks, service marks, tradenames, logos, copyrights, patents, domain names or other intellectual property interests of third parties.

Links to Other Materials

If any link is offered connecting to a third-party web site, it is as an accommodation to the respective third-party site owner. Sites linked to and from this Site are not necessarily under the control of HomeTelos and HomeTelos shall have no responsibility or liability whatsoever for the content or privacy practices of any such linked site or any link or linking program at any time.

Children's Privacy

Persons under the age of thirteen (13) are not authorized to use the Site and HomeTelos does not specifically collect information about children. However, HomeTelos is concerned about the safety of children and their use of the Internet. Therefore, in accordance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998, HomeTelos will never knowingly request or solicit personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 13 without prior verifiable parental consent. In the event that HomeTelos receives actual knowledge that HomeTelos has collected such personal information without the requisite and verifiable parental consent, HomeTelos will delete that information from its database as quickly as is practical.

Effective Date and Changes

This Privacy Statement is effective as of October 1, 2024. HomeTelos reserves the right to modify the terms of this Policy at any time and in its sole discretion, by posting a change notice on this page.
